Horace Gautier is a Partner in Secretan Troyanov's "Litigation and Arbitration" and "Corporate" groups. He was Managing Partner of the firm from 1995 to 2003 and headed its London office from 2000 to 2003. Horace Gautier graduated from Geneva University in 1979 and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1982. After gaining banking experience in the United States of America, he joined Secretan Troyanov in 1983 and became a partner in 1990.

Horace Gautier's practice focuses on international commercial litigation, on behalf of corporate or private clients, notably in the airline, telecommunications and real estate sectors. He also has considerable experience in white-collar crime investigations, asset-tracing and employment litigation and has appeared as expert witness on issues of Swiss law in foreign court proceedings. He is an experienced arbitrator and counsel in arbitration proceedings.

Additionally, Horace Gautier regularly advises clients in corporate transactions such as mergers & acquisitions, real-estate transactions and joint-ventures. He acts, on an advisory and contentious level, in insolvency proceedings.

He is fluent in French and English, with a working knowledge of German.
