Cyril Troyanov is a Partner of Secretan Troyanov since 1992. He graduated from Geneva University School of Law in 1980, which was followed by one year of postgraduate study at the law school of Vienna University. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1983 and obtained his Master's degree from New York University in 1985. After practising law at a New York law firm, and having passed the New York Bar exam, he returned to Geneva where he joined Secretan Troyanov in 1986.
Cyril Troyanov was in charge of opening the Moscow office of Secretan Troyanov in 1992. He presently heads the firm's Russian-speaking group. As an expert on cross-border legal issues, he has extensive experience in providing legal services to companies and individuals, mainly from Russia as well as Central and Eastern Europe, advising them on approaches to doing business in Western Europe. He advises international clients on matters relating to corporate formation and operation, finance, banking, tax and business regulations.
Cyril Troyanov also regularly provides estate planning advice to high-net worth individuals, including relocation to Switzerland, counseling on administrative procedures and real estate acquisitions.
He is fluent in French, Russian, English and German.
